Victim Advocate Coordinator
The Victim Advocate Coordinator is a part-time, grant-funded position with the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and will be responsible for managing the MCSO Victim Advocates (VA) team. This department head position will coordinate with the volunteer Victim Advocates to provide comprehensive assistance to and for victims of violent crimes. Additionally, this person will be responsible for provision of direct services to victims of violent crime in Mineral County through outreach, liaison with local criminal justice entities, and collaboration with community resource providers. 50% of this position will be dedicated towards providing direct services to victims of crime and 50% will be dedicated towards the training and coordination of MCSO volunteer Victim Advocates and MCSO Deputies. CSU Extension, SLV Area and Mineral County are hiring a part time, 4-H Youth Program Coordinator. We deliver community education which fosters healthy youth and families, prosperous farms, ranches and businesses, and strong, resilient, proud communities. You will be the link between SLV Area Extension Agents and Mineral County youth and families in delivering 4-H, in-school and after school Extension educational programs. This is a 9 month pilot position. Job Hours will be variable and flexible, averaging up to 20 hours per week at $16-$18 per hour.
