The Mineral County Commissioners met for their regularly scheduled mid-month meeting on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Items of note included:
- The hiring of Joanna Johnson to fill the position fo Dental Assistant at the Mineral County Dental Clinic
- A discussion was started as to what debris will and won't be allowed in the new pit at the landfill
- Spoke at length with CSU Extension Director about the potential for hiring a 4-H Director and Homemaker for Mineral County
- The BOCC voted to appoint Amy Wetherill as County Treasurer to finish the term of Patti Payne who is retiring as of June 30.
The BOCC meeting was adjourned and a Public Hearing was held to hear the application for a special event liquor license for the 2021 Chute Out. The Commissioners approved the license for a total of 6 events.
