Mineral County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 to review the following applications:

  • Zoning Map Amendment on a parcel located in the W1/2 SW1/4 SEC6 T41N R1E (aka Fairgrounds Property) (current zoning Rural - proposed zoning Commercial for potion of the parcel surrounding the arena)
  • Conditional Use Application for an in-home occupation at 30 Twilight Avenue in Moonshine Mesa
  • Minor Subdivision Application submitted by Deacon Family Investments for a small subdivision located in SEC2 Y41N R1W

   The public hearing will begin at 5:30 pm and will be held in the Commissioner's meeting room in the Mineral County Courthouse at 1201 N Main, Creede, CO  81130.   A virtual option for attendance is available.  Meeting link Copies of the applications can be viewed at the County Administrator’s office at 1201 N Main, Creede, CO.   Written comments can be sent via email to or mailed to the attention of the County Administrator at PO Box 70, Creede, CO  81130.  Comments need to be received by EOB on Monday, April 11, 2022.
